The Department of Motoric Disorders, Chronic Disease and Art Therapies operates in the contemporary circumstances of the development of translational sciences of this millennium. This also applies on the development of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches dedicated to the study of anthropologic dimensions of motoric disorders, chronic diseases (psychosomatic, somatopsychic, psychosocial, etc.) and various forms of physical disability, as well as on the development of complementary preventive, educational, therapeutic, and rehabilitational procedures focused on discovering and supporting the life potentials and quality of human life. The contemporary development of the Department is also reflected in the development of undergraduate, graduate, specialist, and doctoral study programmes which provide acquisition of new professional competences and orientations.
