The Sub-Department for Physical Education and Recreation implements the curriculum and programme of the course of Physical Education and Health Culture. It organizes participation of students in sports competitions of the University of Zagreb and their trips to sports competitions and health forums.

Department collaborates with the doctor in charge of students and arranges the systematic medical check-ups of students.

It is also in charge of the organisation and implementation of the programme of sports and recreational activities of the Faculty staff.
