Organized by the Laboratory for Art and Science of the University of Zagreb  Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, the 2nd Symposium Healing Power of Music: Exploring the Role of Music in Health, Rehabilitation, and Human Experience will take place on Friday, 15 May 2026 . The symposium will be held in the Mljet Hall from 10:00 to 14:30. At the intersection of art and science, music is widely recognised as a universal and powerful medium used in various fields of healing, education, and rehabilitation. Through interdisciplinary scientific and professional perspectives, this symposium examines the role of music in enhancing health, psychophysical well-being, and quality of life, aiming to understand how, through the sound of music, we turn towards ourselves – more gently, more deeply, and more wholly. Assoc. Prof. Sonja Alimović presented the results of the Atollo project, currently in its final phase of implementation, at the roundtable “ Artificial Intelligence and Modern Science: New Opportunities for the Digitalisation of the Research Process in Special Pedagogy ”, held on 7 April 2026 and organised by the Department of Special Pedagogy, Abai Kazakh National University, via a webinar titled “ Digital Technology in Special Education and Research: What Have We Learned from Its Implementation in Practice? ”

On Friday, 17 April 2026 , the Laboratory for Prevention Research (UNIZG ERF) , in cooperation with the S chool of Graphics, Design and Media Production , held the final event of the project “ Digital Platform for Secondary School Teachers on Adolescent Risk Behaviours ”. The event brought together school support staff, primary and secondary school teachers, and presented a digital platform for the prevention of adolescent risk behaviours. The project was funded under the Erasmus+ programme (KA220-SCH – Cooperation Partnerships in School Education).
