Description:
Learning outcomes:
  1. Explain the anatomical-physiological foundations of hearing, voice, speech, feeding and swallowing.
  2. Describe the basic developmental processes underlying the human behavior
  3. Describe the effects of risk factors for hearing, communication, language, voice, speech, reading, writing, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
  4. Describe complex communication needs in people with intellectual disabilities, people with autism spectrum disorder, and people with motor disorders, sensory disorders, and behavioral disorders.
  5. Explain the principles of early intervention.
  6. Explain ethical principles in speech-language pathology work/practice.
  7. Explain the characteristics of the teaching process in teaching children with difficulties in hearing, communication, language, speech, reading, writing and arithmetic.
  8. Interpret the characteristics of the Deaf culture.
  9. Apply a form of manual communication in accordance with the communication situation and individual communication, hearing and language-speech characteristics of the person.
  10. Develop basic communication skills, collaboration and teamwork
