The International Scientific and Professional Symposium marking World Voice Day held on 11th of April 2025 at Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, brought together national and international experts from the fields of speech-language pathology, phoniatrics, otorhinolaryngology, and related disciplines with the aim of exchanging contemporary scientific knowledge and clinical experience related to voice, voice disorders, and their rehabilitation.

The symposium programme included a series of invited lectures and professional presentations addressing various aspects of vocal health, including the diagnosis and rehabilitation of voice disorders, specific approaches to working with professional voice users, and multidisciplinary approaches to the treatment and rehabilitation of individuals with voice disorders.

The lectures provided an overview of current research and clinical practices and opened space for professional discussion on the challenges and opportunities for the further development of clinical practice and research in the field of voice.

The symposium contributed to strengthening scientific and professional collaboration between national and international institutions and to the further development of research and clinical work in the fields of speech-language pathology and phoniatrics. It also highlighted the importance of promoting awareness of vocal health and the prevention of voice disorders within the broader professional and public community.
