Description:
Learning outcomes:
  1. Explain the anatomical-physiological foundations of hearing, voice, speech, feeding and swallowing.
  2. Explain the neuro-physiological and socio-cognitive foundations of communication, language, reading and writing.
  3. Describe the typical communication and speech-language development and the acquisition of reading and writing (pre)skills.
  4. Describe the effects of risk factors for hearing, communication, language, voice, speech, reading, writing, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
  5. Conduct screening in the areas of hearing, communication, language, voice, speech, reading, writing, feeding, and swallowing.
