Description:
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge and skills for applying parametric and nonparametric statistical methods, using the statistical program SPSS.

Course content:
Basic functions of the SPSS statistical program
Coding plan, dataset preparation and dataset editing
Managing dataset variables
Tabular and graphical presentation of data
Descriptive indicators in the SPSS statistical program
Testing the normality of distribution in the statistical program SPSS
Nonparametric tests
Parametric and nonparametric methods of testing the difference between two samples in the statistical program SPSS
Parametric and non-parametric methods of testing the difference between two sets of observation in the statistical program SPSS
Correlation coefficients in the SPSS statistical program
Analysis of variance in the statistical program SPSS
Reporting results

Student obligations: Students are required to attend lectures (80%), and do a project assignment.
Assessment and evaluation of student work during classes and at the final exam: Points earned through various activities are added up and based on that a final grade is formed.
