Description:
Learning outcomes:
  1. Describe the effects of risk factors for hearing, communication, language, voice, speech, reading, writing, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
  2. Explain the principles of early intervention.
  3. Explain ethical principles in speech-language pathology work/practice.
  4. Explain the characteristics of the teaching process in teaching children with difficulties in hearing, communication, language, speech, reading, writing and arithmetic.
  5. Interpret the characteristics of the Deaf culture.
  6. Implement a plan to foster hearing, communication and language development and literacy as an assistant in the family environment and educational institutions for persons who have undergone speech therapy assessment.
