Description:
Learning outcomes:
  1. Explain the anatomical-physiological foundations of hearing, voice, speech, feeding and swallowing.
  2. Describe the effects of risk factors for hearing, communication, language, voice, speech, reading, writing, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
  3. Explain ethical principles in speech-language pathology work/practice.
  4. Conduct screening in the areas of hearing, communication, language, voice, speech, reading, writing, feeding, and swallowing.
  5. Apply different acoustic methods of measuring voice and speech.
