Description:
The aim of this course is to develop fluency in sign language; to understand various contents and interactive communication in HZJ; to acquire storytelling skills; to get introduced with the theory and practice of interpreting.

Students will:
- show an appropriate level of HZJ vocabulary and grammar, and to show awareness and respect to the community and the culture of the Deaf
- understand and interpret the contents presented in HZJ, and to convey various information, concepts and ideas for different purposes in HZJ
- distinguish and demonstrate different interpreting techniques from/into HZJ
