DIGIPREV at the 17th EUSPR Conference in Dublin

The DIGIPREV project was presented at the 17^th European Society for Prevention Research (EUSPR) Conference and Members’ Meeting, held in Dublin, Ireland, from 16–18 September 2026, under the theme “Innovation in Prevention to Support Health Equity”.

The poster “Project Overview: Development of a Methodology for the Digital Assessment of Risk and Protective Factors and the Prevalence of Risk Behaviours as a Foundation for Strategic Planning of Prevention in the Community (DIGIPREV)” presented the aims and key activities of the project. Particular attention was given to the development of a digital methodology for the systematic assessment of risk and protective factors and the prevalence of risk behaviours among children and young people.

The methodology is intended to provide a robust data foundation for identifying community needs, setting priorities and supporting strategic and evidence-informed prevention planning in local communities.

Participation in the EUSPR Conference provided a valuable opportunity to introduce DIGIPREV to the international prevention science community, exchange experiences, and connect the project with current European research and practice in prevention.

Participation in the International Communities That Care (CTC) Meeting in Dublin

We participated in the international Communities That Care (CTC) meeting, held alongside the EUSPR 2026 Conference in Dublin.

The meeting brought together representatives from countries and organisations implementing or developing the CTC approach and provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, challenges and examples of good practice. Of particular relevance to DIGIPREV was the exchange of experiences related to the assessment of risk and protective factors and the use of collected data to identify community needs and priorities.

International exchange and connection with the CTC network are important for the further development and refinement of the DIGIPREV methodology, which aims to provide a data foundation for strategic and evidence-informed prevention planning in local communities.

DIGIPREV presented at the 1st Regional PREVREG Conference

The project “Development of a Methodology for the Digital Assessment of Risk and Protective Factors and the Prevalence of Risk Behaviours as a Foundation for Strategic Planning of Prevention in the Community (DIGIPREV)” was presented at the 1st Regional Conference “PREVREG – Building the Foundations of PREVention Science in the REGion”, held on June 10–11, 2026, in Zagreb, Croatia.

The PREVREG Conference brought together researchers, practitioners and decision-makers from Croatia and the wider region to strengthen prevention science, facilitate knowledge exchange and foster regional collaboration.

The presentation of DIGIPREV highlighted the importance of systematically assessing risk and protective factors and risk behaviours among children and young people as a foundation for evidence-informed decision-making and strategic prevention planning in local communities.
