On the 2nd Day of ERF projects, the project "Digital Literacy Assessment in Individuals with Hearing Impairment" was presented.

Organized by the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences (ERF) of the University of Zagreb, the second ERF Project Day was held on May 13, 2026. The aim of the event was to strengthen the visibility of the Faculty's scientific work and to encourage cooperation and networking through interactive presentations of current research.

On this occasion, the project „Digital Literacy Assessment in Individuals with Hearing Impairment” (IIP-13-DigipiS) was also presented. The project was presented by its leader, Assistant Professor Marina Olujić Tomazin, PhD, from the Department of Hearing Impairments. During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and become better acquainted with the Faculty's latest scientific initiatives in the field of literacy for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.

Second Full-Day Working Meeting of the DigipiS Project Research Team

The research team of the Digital Assessment of Literacy in Individuals with Hearing Loss (IIP-13-DigipiS) project, led by Marina Olujić Tomazin, PhD, met again on Monday, 13 July 2026, for its second full-day working meeting.

The meeting began with a presentation of the prototype of the data collection application, followed by a discussion of potential technical improvements. The central and most extensive part of the meeting focused on the development of the assessment materials, with particular emphasis on defining the types and number of tasks and designing the test items. The final session was dedicated to preparations for the upcoming conference, including the selection of topics that will showcase the work of the project team.

The project leader and team members Iva Hrastinski, PhD, Tomislav Radošević, PhD, Marija Jozipović, assistant, and Marina Borčić, assistant, are now looking forward to a pleasant and warm summer before returning to preparations for the pilot study.
