		<title>At the 2nd ERF Project Day the project “Characteristics of Students' Visual Functioning: Implications for Daily Life and Education” was presented</title>

					&lt;p&gt;On May 13, 2026, our team participated in the 2nd ERF Projects Day, an event dedicated to promoting and strengthening the scientific activities of our Faculty.&amp;nbsp;We presented our project, "&lt;strong&gt;Characteristics of Students' Visual Functioning: Implications for Daily Life and Education&lt;/strong&gt;" using a unique and dynamic format: scientific speed dating.&lt;/p&gt;

		<title>Participation in the International Scientific Conference “22nd Mate Demarin Days”</title>

					&lt;p&gt;As part of the institutional project &lt;strong&gt;"Characteristics of Visual Functioning in Students: Implications for Daily Life and Education"&lt;/strong&gt; led by Assoc. Prof. Sonja Alimović, PhD, project team member Andrea Paulik participated in the International Scientific Conference &lt;strong&gt;22nd Mate Demarin Days&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The conference, held under the theme "&lt;em&gt;Tradition and Modernity in&amp;nbsp; Education – The Timeless Encounter&lt;/em&gt;" took place in Pula on April 23rd and 24th, 2026.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Andrea Paulik, together with co-authors Sonja Alimović and Matea Kasun Luburić, presented a paper titled: "&lt;strong&gt;Characteristics of Students' Visual Functioning and Implications for Universal Adaptations of Materials, Approach, and Environment&lt;/strong&gt;."&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The presentation of the paper and the preliminary results shared represent a significant step in the dissemination of the project, as well as in increasing the visibility and scientific contribution of our project team.&lt;/p&gt;

		<title>Participation in the International Summit on Global Education for CVI and Visual Special Needs (InSight) Conference</title>

					&lt;p&gt;During the &lt;a href="https://www.insight2026.lu/" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;International Summit on Global Education for CVI and Visual Special Needs (InSight)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt; held in Luxembourg, &lt;strong&gt;18–20 March 2026&lt;/strong&gt;, &lt;strong&gt;Matea Kasun Luburić and Sonja Alimović&lt;/strong&gt; conducted a 90-minute &lt;strong&gt;workshop &lt;/strong&gt;on the topic &lt;strong&gt;"Effectiveness of Individualised Strategies to Vision-Related Needs"&lt;/strong&gt;,&amp;nbsp;during which they presented preliminary results on the usability of recommendations for improving visual functioning in primary and secondary school students.&lt;/p&gt;
