On May 13, 2026, our team participated in the 2nd ERF Projects Day, an event dedicated to promoting and strengthening the scientific activities of our Faculty. Participation in the International Scientific Conference “22nd Mate Demarin Days”

As part of the institutional project "Characteristics of Visual Functioning in Students: Implications for Daily Life and Education" led by Assoc. Prof. Sonja Alimović, PhD, project team member Andrea Paulik participated in the International Scientific Conference 22nd Mate Demarin Days.

The conference, held under the theme "Tradition and Modernity in Education – The Timeless Encounter" took place in Pula on April 23rd and 24th, 2026.

Andrea Paulik, together with co-authors Sonja Alimović and Matea Kasun Luburić, presented a paper titled: "Characteristics of Students' Visual Functioning and Implications for Universal Adaptations of Materials, Approach, and Environment."

The presentation of the paper and the preliminary results shared represent a significant step in the dissemination of the project, as well as in increasing the visibility and scientific contribution of our project team.

Participation in the International Summit on Global Education for CVI and Visual Special Needs (InSight) Conference

During the International Summit on Global Education for CVI and Visual Special Needs (InSight) held in Luxembourg, 18–20 March 2026, Matea Kasun Luburić and Sonja Alimović conducted a 90-minute workshop on the topic "Effectiveness of Individualised Strategies to Vision-Related Needs", during which they presented preliminary results on the usability of recommendations for improving visual functioning in primary and secondary school students.
