Scientific interests

Scientific work is focused on speech-language difficulties in children and adults caused by brain lesion.
The research part of the activity is linked with the problem area of aphasias and traumatic brain lesions. The attention is notably focused to more recent approaches to viewing the problem of aphasias, from the terminology and classification to application of adequate diagnostic methods and procedures. Another component part of the scientific work is speech language difficulties in persons of older age (dementia).
