- Scientific work focused on specific learning difficulties, notably dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia
- A significant part of activities is also dedicated to research in features of regular development of reading and writing in Croatia, and the link between the language and these skills
- In the research of difficulties and disorders in mathematical processes, the focus is on mathematic language
