Faculty's Library
The Library of the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation ScienceS, established 1962, functions within the framework of the Faculty with the purpose of providing efficient and complete conditions for the realization of the scientific-research and educational activities.
The Library is specialized for the scientific field of social sciences, educational-rehabilitational sciences (branches: inclusive education and rehabilitation, criminology, and behavioural disorders), and speech and language pathology (branches: communication and speech disorders and specific learning disability, voice and speech disorders, hearing impairments, swallowing and feeding disorders).
The library has a leading collection of scientific journals, both print and electronic. The Faculty publishes three journals: Defectology, which had been published between 1965 and 1995 and then renamed to the Croatian Review of Rehabilitation Research, Criminology and Social Integration, and Logopedics, published since 1995. All issues of the journals are also available online on Hrčak - the central open access portal of Croatian scientific journals. Students, professors, scientists and employees at facultie have free access to numerous international databases, provided by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports.
The Library’s on-line catalogue is available, together with information regarding the library, news, useful links and available foreign and Croatian professional and scientific e-journals on Internet. The library consists of an area which contains textbooks and reference literature, a reading room and separate area with 22 computers and wireless Internet connection.
The Library is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on working days.
